How they look like.


  • 250g icing sugar
  • 250g grated hazelnuts
  • ~ 150g whole hazelnuts
  • 3 eggs (only white part required)
  • 1 orange peel (use organic)
  • Wafers (100)


Put all ingredients except the egg in a bowl together and stir. Whisk white part of the egg with a pinch of salt (best with an electric mixer). Distribute the wafers on a baking tin and place small dough piles on them. This is done best with two tee spoons. Then place on each pile a hazelnut. Put it in the oven at 180 ° C and take it out when slightly brown (after approximately 15 minutes).
